Soy Milk or Soya Milk, is a plant-based, non-dairy beverage. This product does not contain sugar. You can make it “sweet” soy milk by adding cane sugar or simple syrup. Chinese usually serve it hot or cold, depending on their preferences, and is often accompanied by youtiao (deep fried dough sticks). Japanese uses soy milk to make Yuba, and Koreans use soy milk to make kongguksu. Soy milk can also be used for making milkshakes and pancakes. If you are lactose intolerant, soy milk is a good replacement for cow’s milk!
