Description
Tempeh or tempe is a traditional Indonesian soy product, that is made from fermented soybeans. Tempeh is often cut into pieces, soaked in brine or sauces, then fried. A thin slice of tempeh cooked in deep-fried oil will turn out to be a crisp golden crust with soft interior. Cooked tempeh can be eaten by itself, used in chili, stir fried, soups, salads, sandwiches and stews!
